Who We Are

Neighbors, organized.

We are Indivisible Norwalk — a community of neighbors in Norwalk, CT, united by the spirit of Good Trouble. A grassroots force committed to protecting our democracy from authoritarian takeover while working to dismantle the systemic inequities that fuel it.

We are everyday individuals determined to build political power for working families and course-correct a political system currently distorted by corporate influence.

We believe that how we show up in the community starts with how we lead ourselves. We operate through collective impact leadership — governing as a collaborative group of voices that make us stronger and more effective.

Our Mission

Necessary good trouble.

To engage in necessary “Good Trouble” to secure a fair, thriving, and genuinely democratic Norwalk, Connecticut, and United States. We achieve this through community organizing and public outreach — including mutual aid, recruiting support for our cause, and exerting pressure on elected officials to champion solutions that prioritize human needs over corporate profits.

What We Believe

Symptoms, not causes.

We believe that the rise of the MAGA movement and the current threats to our democracy are symptoms, not causes. They are symptoms of a government that has stopped working for millions of Americans — and a politics distorted by big money and special interests. Connecticut is long overdue for progressive policy changes that will better the lives of all our state's residents and protect us from authoritarian overreach. By working together, we can make this happen.

We believe:
